Marvin was born on October 23, 1951, in Sawyer, Oklahoma, to Dorethea Helen (Lowman) Powell and Perry Abslone Powell. He passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, in Poteau, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Helen Powell; his son, Billy Jack Powell; sister, Marie Powell; and brothers, John Powell and Lynn Powell.
Marvin was a proud graduate who wrestled in high school and carried that competitive spirit throughout his life. He had a deep love for birds and found joy in observing and caring for them.
He is survived by his children: Duane Powell, Kevin Powell, and April Bieglea; sister, Sharon Rose Powell; brother, Jack Wiley Powell; grandchildren: Adam, Bryant, Kiera, Jordan, and Ashlynn; and numerous great-grandchildren who brought him joy and pride.
