Mary “Catherine” Skelton, 98, of Panama, OK passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Ft. Smith, AR. Catherine was born February 9, 1920, in Tahona, OK to William & Rena (Keeny) Darneal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Skelton; sons, Jackie & Frank; grandsons, Terry Skelton & Larry Barnes; sisters, Nella Fay Rogers, Elda Mae Walker; and brothers, Raymond & Lloyd Darneal.
Survivors include her daughters, Freda & Tommy Ray Farrar of Panama, OK, Shirley & Steve Woods of Talihina, OK; grandchildren, Gary Skelton of Cedarville, AR, Rodney Skelton of Shady Point, OK, Randy Farrar of St. Louis, MO, Billy Skelton of Shady Point, OK, Rocky Skelton of Shady Point, OK, Britney Dawkins of Panama, OK, Shelynda Harmon of Skiatook, OK, Sara Wallin of Minco,OK, Traci Frazier of Mustang, OK; 27 Great Grandchildren; 10 Great Great Grandchildren; sisters, Opal Brown of Snyder, TX and June Johnson of Poteau, OK; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Panama Free Will Baptist Church, Panama, OK with David Nolan officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Panama, OK. Pallbearers will be Rodney, Rocky, Cody & Billy Skelton; Ryan & Randy Farrar.
The family will be at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 pm to visit with relatives & friends.
