Funeral Service for Mary Marie Mackey, 70 of Shady Point, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Clint Beesley officiating. Burial will follow at Slaytonville Cemetery in Slaytonville, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Mary was born on June 9, 1952 in Salina, Kansas to Ruby (Richardson) Brockelman and Vernie Brockelman and passed away on March 10, 2023 in Shady Point, Oklahoma. She was married to Donald Mackey on December 12, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Mackey; two sons, Sammy McQuillan, and Robert McQuillan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and loved ones.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
