Mikel Jerome Lee Shepard of Spiro Oklahoma was born April 16, 1969 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Curtis Wayne Lee and Cynthia Ann Shepard and passed away on August 31, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 48.

 

He is survived by his companion, Tiffany Hale of the home, five daughters, Laneise Phillips of Spiro, OK, Kylie Shepard of Fort Smith, AR, Daneisha Shepard of Fort Smith, AR, Kira Shepard of Conway, AR, Kayla Shepard of Fort Smith, AR, two sons; Mikel Jonace Shepard of Fort Smith, AR, and Dawson of Bokoshe, OK, his mother and step father, Cynthia Shepard and William Bee Phillips of Spiro, OK, his father; Curtis Wayne Lee of Fort Smith, AR, his Grandmother, Ester Lee Clayton of Fort Coffee, OK, one brother; Torrance Bunch of Fort Coffee, OK, and many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

 

Mikel was preceded in death by his brother; Brannon Shepard. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

 

Mikel also enjoyed remodeling things within his home.

 

Services will be Saturday September 9, 2017 at 11am, at  Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma burial following at Fort Coffee Cemetery with Pastor Tashala Deverow officiating.

 

Pallbearers will be; Jimmie Lee Jr., David McKinney, Anthony Bradley, Jemel Shepard, Mannex Lewis, and Bryan Sweeten. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Tony Guidry, Terren Bunch, Juan Duke.

Viewing will be Friday September 8, 2017 from 9 am- 8pm at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
