Funeral Service for Mildred Gish, 85 of will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Joe Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Simon Issac Cemetery in Keota, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. Viewing will be 12:00pm to 7:00pm Friday with the family visiting with friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.Mildred Marie Gish was born on July 19, 1938 in Keota, Oklahoma to Agnes (Tom) and Johnny McNoel and passed away on August 22, 2023 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was precceded in death by her parents; her husband, Plas Gish; sisters, Melba Woolard, Loretta Shipman, Sharon McNoel; brother, Billy King; Nephews, Walter Woolard, Jeremy Smith; Neice Ramona Woolard Lewallen. She was a member of the Choctaw Nation and proud of her Choctaw heritage. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and was retired from the Pocola Nursing HomeShe is survived by her brothers, Ricky Schalski and Debra, Floyd McNoel; sisters, Betty Karbo, Debbie McNoel, Donna Robinson, Lisa Schalski and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
