Millus Lou Seale, 93, of Poteau, OK, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, in Sallisaw. She was born January 22, 1933, in Poteau, OK, to Milburn and Lura Miller. She served in the U.S. Airforce, where she met her greatest love, Bill. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Poteau.
Millus was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Seale, parents Milburn Miller and Lura Miller, two brothers Tommy Miller and Charles Miller and one sister, Betty Miller.
She is survived by two sons, William R. (Rob) Seale II and wife Becky Seale and James M. Seale and wife Shirley all of Poteau, granddaughters Leslie Yochum and husband Dennis, Joni Cagle and husband Josh, Tierney Breeding and husband Gerad, all of Poteau, grandson Aaron Seale and wife Joy of Tulsa, great granddaughters Candice Wicks and husband T.J. of Tahlequah, Tristin Johnson and husband Marcus, Cailey Yochum, Blair Hagelberger and Chloe Hagelberger all of Poteau, and great-great grandchildren Kit, Trae, Kover and James Paul as well as a host of extended family, loved ones and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services for Millus will be held 11am – Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church 505 Holson Ave Poteau, Oklahoma with Bother Jim Seale and Brother Jim Reed officiating and burial with full military honors to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma. The Family of Millus Seale will greet friends from 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Dennis Yochum, Josh Cagle, Aaron Seale, Marcus Johnson, TJ Wicks, and Gerad Breeding. Honorary Casket bearers will be Bob Hendricks, Todd Peters, Paul Mode, Steve Akers, Bob Carter, Rodney Hemphill, Rick Couri, and Adam Hagelberger.
