Minnie Ruby Aline (Chamberlain) Adams was born on July 3, 1932 in Braggs, Oklahoma to Alfred and Bessie (Hillman) Chamberlain and passed away on January 30, 2021 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 88. Ruby Adams, as most people knew her, was preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother-in-law, Imagean and R.J. Mott, and two brothers, S.W. Chamberlain and Wayne Chamberlain. She was a member of the Woodward Avenue Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she enjoyed taking care of her home and cooking for everyone, and she loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, J.B. Adams; two daughters, Brenda Lovejoy and husband Larry and Cheryl Bouwman and husband Randy; one son, Donald Adams and wife Mart; grandchildren, Todd Hertstein, Lora Hertstein, Daniel Lovejoy, Michelle Walace, Jodie and Dave Powers, Adam Bouwman, Jamie and Kenny Murillo, Jessie Adams, Shawna Adams, Mitchell Adams, Sam Adams, and Cheyann Adams; numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Private family services will be held at the Floral View Memorial Gardens in Grandville, Michigan.
