Memorial Service for Nolan Barnes, 76 of Muldrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Gans 1st Assembly of God Church in Gans, Oklahoma with Chris Stephenson officiating.
Nolan was born on July 11, 1947 in Bradford, Arkansas to Syble Barnes (Turner) and Charley C. Barnes and passed away on September 30, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Enzel Foust on August 29, 1965 in Gans, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Dawson Barnes. Nolan was a member of Gans 1st Assembly of God Church. He retired from Bekeart Steel.
Survivors include his wife, Enzel Barnes; daughter, Lorelei Jester; son, Daniel Barnes and wife Jodie; sister, Jane Biggs; brothers, Charles E. Barnes and wife Lela, Johnny Barnes and wife Martha, and Clifton Barnes; grandchildren, Rodney Jeremiah and wife Cena, Jessica Jester, Danaya Barnes, Charley Barnes, Lexxie Kennedy, Jason Moore, and Amber Sharp; great grandchildren, Carter, Bricen, Daxton, and Auburn; great great grandchildren, Gage.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Rhoads, and Lonnie Collins.
Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
