Funeral Service for Norman Kilpatrick, 91 of Van Buren, Arkansas will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at First Assembly of God in Arkoma, Oklahoma with Reverend Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Slaytonville Cemetery in Slaytonville, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Norman was born on November 21, 1931 in Cameron, Oklahoma to Eva (Branstetter) Bray and Adley Otis Kilpatrick and passed away on March 22, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Clifton Bray; wife Bernice Kilpatrick; and 2 sisters. Norman served in the Military during the Koren conflict. After serving in the Army, He attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. He entered in to the ministry full time in 1953, and preached his First Sermon at the Little School house at Hilltown. in Cameron, Oklahoma. He preached his First Revival at the Little Church at Slaytonville Cemetery. After Evangelizing for several months he Pastored his first Church Burches Chapel Assembly of God at sunset Corner, Spiro, Oklahoma also know as Stoney Point.

Survivors include his children, Odus Kilpatrick, Lana Riggins and husband Dennis, Douglas Kilpatrick and wife Dana; 8 grandchildren, Mandy Kilpatrick, Monica Borchert, Gene Riggins, Alan Riggins, Lindsey Dawson, D.J. Kilpatrick, McKenzie Black, and Kevin Black; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Gene Riggins, Alan Riggins, D.J. Kilpatrick, Ed Richison, Joyce Holleman, and Jim Moore.

Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
