Obituary for Harlan Dale Blagg Featured

Harlan "Sonny" Dale Blagg was born on November 12th, 1934 in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma to Lillian (Bryan) Blagg and Garland Blagg. Harlan was drafted into the U.S. Army fresh out of high school. He served two years overseas, then returned to his hometown to be a rancher. Like any rancher, working the land and livestock was his passion. He married the love of his life, Glenda (Walker) Blagg on December 12th, 1967 and they began the journey of building their life and family together. Harlan passed away from this life on September 14th, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.

Harlan is survived by his wife, Glenda of the home; children, Kathleen Blagg and Mitch Tidwell of Talihina, OK, Selena Spivey and husband Scott of Talihina, OK, Jonathan Blagg and wife Heather of Talihina, OK, and Edward Blagg and wife, Melissa of Talihina, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Blagg, Victoria Spivey, Blake Blagg-Tidwell, Roxanna Blagg, Emmalee Blagg, Emmett Blagg, and Eli Blagg; sister, Judy Kennedy and husband, Garry; sister in law, Molly Blagg; brother in law, Gene Wall, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and special family friends, Shaun and Charli Wallis, and a host of friends.

Harlan is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Keith Blagg, and sister, Kay Wall.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Katie Blagg, Shaun Wallis, Gary Kennedy, Brian Blagg, Jason Kennedy, and Justin Kennedy

Graveside services will be on Thursday, September 17th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Cupco Cemetery in Yanush, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
