Funeral Service for Patricia Lynn Benson, 63 of Heavener, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Donald Benefield officiating. Burial will follow at Hontubby Cemetery in Hontubby, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Patricia was born on December 1, 1960 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Altie (Woodral) Benson and Delmer Benson and passed away on July 11, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jesse Benson, Gene Benson, Carolyn Evans and husband John. She was a life long resident of Heavener, Oklahoma. Patricia was a resident at Heavener Nursing and Rehab where she enjoyed Church services and games. She had several friends there. Patricia was a graduate of Howe School. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her sisters, Virginia Hickman of Spiro, Oklahoma, Peggy Terry an husband Billy Jack of Poteau, Oklahoma, Janis Tucker and husband Dewayne of Hackett, Arkansas; brothers, Bobby Benson of Heavener, Oklahoma, Kenneth Benson and wife Virginia “Ginner” of Pryor, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, an loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Tucker, Norman Benson, Dalton Hickman, Doug Hickman, Jason Hickman, and Tyler Hickman.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Shawn Terry, Tyrail Benson, Conner Bynum, and Evan Dimitro.
Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
