Affectionately known as “Granny Pat” to all who knew and loved her, Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She shared 64 years of marriage with her beloved husband, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a lifetime of love, family, and cherished memories. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren were truly the light of her life, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.
Pat spent the majority of her life as a homemaker, pouring her heart into caring for those she loved. She was a wonderful cook who especially enjoyed preparing meals for family gatherings and holidays. She was famous among her children’s and grandchildren’s friends for her unforgettable chocolate gravy and homemade biscuits. Her kitchen was a place where everyone was welcome, no one left hungry, and countless memories were made.
A talented seamstress with a remarkable gift for making something out of nothing, Pat could turn the simplest ingredients into a delicious meal or a piece of fabric into something beautiful. She had a special way of making the most of what she had, and she did it all with love.
Pat also enjoyed her time working at the flower shop, where she spent many long days and late nights alongside her dear, longtime friend, Melba Crane. What may have seemed like work to others became years of treasured memories, laughter, and lasting friendship.
One of Pat’s greatest joys was cheering on those she loved. Whether attending ballgames, school programs, or other special activities, she was always one of the biggest fans in the crowd. She took great pride in her family and never missed an opportunity to show her love and support.
Granny Pat leaves behind a lifetime of precious memories, cherished family traditions, and a legacy of love that will live on for generations. She will be remembered for the warmth of her kitchen, the talents of her hands, the generosity of her heart, and the countless ways she made everyone around her feel loved.
She will be loved always, remembered forever, and missed beyond words.
