He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred, Sr. and Velma Smallwood; two sisters, Barbara Collins and Martha Kay Smallwood; three brothers, Edward Smallwood, JR Smallwood, and Jimmy Louis Smallwood.
Paul was a life-long resident of the area and a logger. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and driving. Paul will be deeply missed by all whom loved and knew him.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Smallwood, Jay Williams, Bryan Thompson, Shawn Smallwood, Christopher Smallwood, and Laramie Thompson.
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday with the family visiting with friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
