Ray Lindell Lovell, 86, passed away on August 15, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas with his family by his family. Ray was born on March 24, 1939, in Milton, Oklahoma to parents William and Opal Morgan Lovell. At the age of 19 years old, Ray embarked on a 35-year career for the US Forest Service, that helped him provide and raise his family, before eventually retiring. Ray also had a passion for collecting and dealing in gold coins, watches, and clocks, so after retirement Ray took a job at a local coin shop so he could fulfill this passion. When he wasn’t working, he and Lesa would get in the car and try to hit every estate sale they could find, in hopes of finding a hidden treasure. Ray loved his family and spending time with them. He and his wife Ann are now back together and walking streets of gold, and although we miss them, we know well see them again someday soon. Until we meet again.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ann Lovell.
Ray is survived by his children Lesa Lovell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Danny Lovell and wife Roma of Ramona, California, and Aaron Lovell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, his granddaughters, Ashley Ramirez of Fort Smith, Aundrea Lovell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Alexis Arreguin of San Marcos, California, his great grandson Tristen Arreguin, his brother Les Lovell and wife Martha of Arizona, his brother in law Ronnie Kingsborough of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, his sisters in law Donna Kingsborough of McCurtain, Oklahoma and Terry Restine of Bokoshe, Oklahoma and his dachshund Lil’ Penny, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
