Rhonda Kay Dees was born on October 18, 1958, in Elwood, Indiana, to Mary Kay (Plummer) Allen and Paul Thomas Lindsay. She passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ardis Dees, Sr.; step-dad, Carl Allen; two sisters; and one brother.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Rhonda loved spending time playing BINGO, watching British comedy shows on television, and making lasting memories with her family and friends. She was affectionately known for making the sweetest sweet tea around, a simple gesture that reflected her warm hospitality and caring nature. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with those she loved and will be remembered for the kindness and love she shared so freely.
She is survived by her sons, Ardis Dees, Jr. and wife Katonya, Greg Dees and wife Kissy, and Thomas Dees; her daughters, Joe Ellen Branham and husband Josh, Erica Dees-Wilkerson and wife Talon, and Samantha Richardson and husband Dylan; thirteen grandchildren; her sister, Brenda Allen; her brother, James Lindsay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will dearly miss her.
