Richard “Rick” Andrews, 70, of Poteau, OK passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was born on May 3, 1950, in Poteau, OK to Burl & Lavonne Andrews. Rick was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired Poteau firefighter of 23 years, and he owned and operated Swiss Cleaners for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Rick married Carolyn Johnson in 1974. He was a loving husband, Dad, and Papa/Pockets.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carolyn Andrews; two daughters, Kristin Andrews-Harrison & husband Michael Harrison of Poteau, Tracy Andrews-Payton & husband Jason Payton of Ft. Smith, AR; a son, Richard “Charlie” Andrews & Crystal Cox of Poteau; six grandchildren, Ethan & Zane Harrison of Poteau, Lexi & Kori Payton of Ft. Smith, Ellie & Olivia Andrews of Poteau; one sister, Carol & husband Donald Allen of Tulsa; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
