Funeral Service for Ricky Woodson, 65 of Shady Point, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Michael Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
He was born on September 25, 1957 in Tulsa,Oklahoma to Nellie Jo (Bailey) Woodson and Jess Robert Woodson and passed away on November 22, 2022 in Shady Point, Oklahoma. Ricky was married to Rita (Kirkley) Woodson on December 19, 1975 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jess and Nellie Woodson and brother, Ronnie Woodson.
Survivors include his wife, of 47 years on December 19, Rita Woodson; daughters, Robin Dalmut and husband Joe, Rhonda Hopkins and husband Jerry; brother, Bobby Woodson and wife Connie; grandchildren, Alyssa Hopkins, Madison Dalmut, Hunter Hopkins, Chance Dalmut, Skylor Zarate; great grandson, Karsyn Reign Hopkins, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved one.
Pallbearers will be Adam Castillo, Colton Castillo, Wayne Bell, Mike Bell, Hunter Hopkins, Chance Dalmut, Skylor Zarate, and Andy Thompson.
Viewing and Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00PM – 7:00PM .
Lunch will be held at 12:00pm on Monday at Faith Community Church in Poteau, Oklahoma.
