Funeral Service for Rita Gale Wiley, 64 of Fanshawe, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Freewill Baptist in Fanshawe, Oklahoma with Gary Willett officiating. Burial will follow at Hicks Chapel Cemetery in Fanshawe, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Rita was born on November 27, 1959 in Hodgen, Oklahoma to Pearlie (Bost) Wiley and Sylvester Wiley and passed away on August 12, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her niece, Erica Jean Wiley; and special friend, Harold Dean Holderfield;
Survivors include her daughters, Christina Gale Hess and husband Michael; sisters, Joann Wiley, and Roxane Wiley; brother, Joey Wiley and wife June; parents, Sylvester and Pearlie Wiley; grandchildren, Christopher Hess, and Aiden Hess; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hess, Caston Ballew, Tom Raymond, Jerry Earls, Joey Wiley, and Heath McKurter.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
