Bob grew up in Shady Point and graduated from Panama High School. He had a degree in Ag economics from OSU and was a member of AGR fraternity, and then earned a Masters in Animal Husbandry from OSU. He went on and worked as the County Agent for many years in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri, before having to move back home to help take care of his parents. He did tax returns after returning to LeFlore County and he learned the real estate business, passed his certifications, and opened a real estate office in Panama/Poteau prior to opening a Century 21 office. He ran the Century 21 office for years and enjoyed meeting and serving the many people of LeFlore County. He was well known in Southeastern Oklahoma as a Farm & Ranch Appraiser. He enjoyed attending the OSU football games and was an active supporter. During his retirement, he and his wife, Patrice, trail rode horses in many states and had many adventures via horseback. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Army and ultimately went on to be Captain in the Army Reserve. He loved to tell good stories and would tell you he lived a good life.
