Robert Otis “RO” White of the Reichert Community in Heavener, Oklahoma was born October 13, 1933 in the Reichert Community to Samson G. and Edith Ann (Johnson) White and passed away on October 8, 2022 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 88.

He is preceded in death by his parents Samson and Edith White; his wife/companion Wanda White; and siblings Lois Burton, Dorothy Fry, and Leo “Pete” White.
RO was a farmer/rancher, a retired Firefighter for the U.S. Forestry Service, and a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. He served on the Reichert Cemetery Board for over 20 years. RO was very proud of his Choctaw heritage and was a member of Choctaw Nation. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. RO will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Bob Cherry officiating. Interment will follow in the Reichert Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Joshua White, Lane Robertson, Cody Ramsey, JohnRoss Christenberry, Scott Thompson, and Jeremy Krebbs.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of RO to Gideon’s International for Bibles.
Viewing will be from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Monday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
