Robert “RC” Thompson, 84, passed away on November 21, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas with his family by his side. RC was born on September 7, 1941, in Fort Smith, Arkansas to parents Joe and Trudie (Irvin) Thompson. RC was a proud veteran of The United States Navy.

The Celebration of Life Services and burial for RC will be held privately by his family at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The Family of RC Thompson will greet friends and have viewing for him from 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma.
