Ronald Edward Haynes of Wister, Oklahoma was born on February 11, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William and Doris (Hamrick) Haynes and passed away on March 11, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 76.

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Doris Haynes; his grandparents; one brother, Larry Don Haynes; uncles and aunt Jimmy Haynes, Johnny and Pauline Haynes.
He was a longtime resident of the area, a truck driver, and a member of Heavener First Baptist Church. Ronald loved fishing, feeding all of his animals, gardening, and playing with his dog, Brandy. He will be missed by all whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, Oklahoma with Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: James Bridges, Cody Cecil, Hayden Bridges, Evan Haynes, Garrett Haynes, Mark Mullins, and David (Bubba) Venters.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Dennis McGill, Adam Whitney, Phillip Mullins, David Venters, Sr., Ross Hall, and Ronnie Pierce.
Viewing will be from Noon to 7 p.m., Monday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday. The family will visit with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
