Graveside Services for Ronald Gene Brown of Poteau, Oklahoma will be 10:00 am Friday, July 9, 2021 at Whitesboro Cemetery in Whitesboro, Oklahoma with Reverend Ed Rodgers officiating. Viewing will be Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 12:00pm – 7:00pm with the family greeting friends from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Ronald was born May 22, 1951 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Layton and Nettie (Stevens) Brown, and passed away July 7, 2021 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 70.
Survivors include his daughters, April Huff and husband Jed, Crystal Brown and husband Dwayne Linne; brothers, Larry Brown, Kenneth Brown; grandchildren, Treven Ward, Acelyn Fout, Addison McCroskey, Nate Brown, Cannon Fowler; great grandson, Winston Ward, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Carrlin Brown. He worked for Oklahoma Forestry for 33 years.
