Bonnie Cook of Anacoco, Louisiana
Seven grandchildren:
Shaylea Whisenhunt, Skyla Paul, Annastasia Pollard, Aubriella Pollard, Liam Pollard,
Wyatt Carter, and Logan Carter
Two great-grandchildren:
Aspyn Wann and Sunday Wann
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Annis Orsburn; her paternal grandparents, Marion and Rosa Johnson; her companion, Royce Robison; and two uncles, Frank Cook and Bud Orsburn.
Rosa was a long-time resident of the area and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Rosa loved to read, play games, and have family game night. She was a loving mother, sister, Nan-Nan, great Nan-Nan, and friend. Rosa will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025 at Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Mr. Billy Chism officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Billy Chism, Justin Chism, Rodney Cleveland, Jamie Baxter, Tim Carter, and Joe Wann.
Viewing will be from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until service time, Friday at the funeral home.
