Rose Mary “Memmaw” Parker of Spiro, Oklahoma was born November 22, 1935 in Shady Point, Oklahoma to Jim Joseph and Lydia Ruth (Brewer) Jones and passed away September 21, 2018 in Spiro, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

 

She is survived by two daughters; Lisa Spiers Lincks and husband Todd of Charleston, Arkansas, Connie Rhodes of Spiro, Oklahoma, one sister, Wilma Sue Adair of Newnan, Georgia, one brother, Johnny Jones and wife Sue of Bellmont, North Carolina, six grandchildren; Bradley McKinney, Joseph McKinney and wife Katrina, Bri Aishman and husband J.D., Trevor Bourne and Kalyn, Mallory Lincks, and Stephanie Johnson and husband Stephen, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was a long-time resident of the area, a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Spiro, Oklahoma, and was a retired Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Rose Mary loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very loving and giving person, a true servant. Rose Mary was always there to help no matter what was going on with her. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the Lakeview Baptist Church in Spiro, Oklahoma with Mr. Shad Adair officiating.

 

Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro.

 

Pallbearers will be; Todd Lincks, Bradley McKinney, Joseph McKinney, Trevor Bourne, J.D. Aishman, and Brian Jackson.

 

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
