Roy Gordon, Sr. passed away December 4, 2020 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 83. Roy served his country in the US Army from which he retired as Sergeant First Class and also retired from Whirlpool after 37 years of dedicated service. In 2007 Roy established the Gordon’s Youth Foundation with a goal to help less fortunate children. Roy always believed that every young person deserves a chance regardless of their circumstances.
Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, December 11, 2020 at the US National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-7pm at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Chapel at 112 North Main Street in Spiro, Oklahoma. Memorial donations may be made to Gordon’s Youth Foundation, PO BOX 534, Pocola, Oklahoma 74902.
