Funeral Services honoring the life of Roy Pryor of Bokoshe, Oklahoma will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.


Burial will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Reverend Fred Wegert officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with family there to receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.


Roy was born February 21, 1946 in Jenny Lind, Arkansas to Paul and Elizabeth (Black) Pryor and passed away on February 3, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 71.


He is survived by four sisters; Paula Hanson of Greenwood, Arkansas, Ella Newby of Sulphur, Louisiana, Deloris Woods and husband Don of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Mitzi Craig and husband Ronald of Roland, Oklahoma, one brother; Ed Pryor and wife Dianna of Morris, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and loved ones.


Mr. Pryor was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth (Black) Pryor, two brothers, Gary Pryor and Darrel Pryor, and four nephews, Marcus Luman, Christopher Pryor, Jimmy Woods, and baby Newby.


He was a member of the Church of Christ. Roy enjoyed tinkering on electronics and other things. He was a "social butterfly" at the Pocola Nursing Home, as he never met a stranger.


Pallbearers will be Paul Pryor, Don Woods, Jerrod Davidson, Ronald Craig, Larry Wayne McCollom, Bo Medlock, and Mason Medlock.
