Funeral Services for Roy Rogers Wooten of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with burial at 12:00 pm at the United States National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
Roy was born on August 27, 1943 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Ernie and Lela (Clark) Wooten and passed away on July 4, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; Ernie and Lela Wooten, a brother; Ernie Gene Wooten, and a sister; Mary Trotter. Roy retired from the United States Navy, Spiro Fire Department and Spiro Schools.
Survivors include his wife; Lynn Wooten, a son; Roy Gene Wooten, daughters; Molly Adams, Carla Hendrix and husband Timothy, brothers; Carl Wooten and wife Debbie, Jim Wooten and wife Ola, and Billy Joe Wooten and wife Carolyn, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Justin Robertson, Koby Carter, Nick Robertson, Donald Wooten, Tim Rust and Jacob Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tristan Rust, Ryker Rust, Karson Carter, J.T. Robertson, and Brooks Robertson.
