Sandra Genene Cox of Cameron, Oklahoma was born January 23, 1948 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Ernest and Virginia (Duncan) Ward, and passed away August 30, 2020 in Cameron, Oklahoma at the age of 72.
She is survived by her husband, of 54 years, Joe Cox; daughters, Sharon McEnturff and husband Robert, Sandy Pendergrass, Karen Fletcher; sons, Rocky Cox, Shawn Cox and wife Robyn, Shane Cox and wife Angela; brothers, Ricky Ward and wife Trina, Wayne Ward and wife Cissy; special sister-in-law, Nanci Dunn; eighteen grandchildren, James David Chitwood, Jacob Cox, Kinley Cox, Tyler Cox and wife Kalli, Taylor Cox and wife Stephanie, Jodie Allen Watkins, A. J. Thompson and wife Kellie, Breanna Thompson, Skeeter McEnturff, Wade Cox, Makayla Cox, Ashley Cox, Brayden Cox, Parker Cox, Megan Fullen, Austyn Cox, Addyson Cox, Jaxyn Cox; ten great grandchildren, Weston, Sierra, Savannah, James, Ryker, Graci, Giovani, Kinzley, Addilynn, Kylinn, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Virginia Ward; son-in-law, Donny Pendergrass, and granddaughter, Emily Cox.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Grace Memorial Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Brother John Long officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma under the direction of Grace Funeral Service in Poteau, Oklahoma. Viewing will be Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm, Friday from 9:00 am – 7:00pm, with the family greeting friends Friday from 5:00pm- 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be; A.J. Thompson, Tyler Cox, Taylor Cox, Austyn Cox, Jodie Allen, and Chass Ward. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Wade Cox, Jacob Cox, Kyle Ward, James David, Tom UpChurch, and Chris Holmes.
