Funeral Service for Shannon Darneal, 51 of McCurtain, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Shannon was born on August 9, 1971 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Patricia (Orrison) Darneal and William Darneal and passed away on January 17, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Benjamin Alfred Darneal, Edna (Morgan) Darneal; maternal grandparents, Robert Orrison, Nora (Brewer) Orrison.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Guss-Darneal; seven daughters, Kassandria Foster and Husband Jamon, Kaitlin May, Asha Darneal and significant other Dominic Hardwick; Aren Reitzel and Husband Tate; Ashley Bray and significant other Wayne Golden; Angellina (Lannie) Bray; Aubrey Darneal and significate other Dylan Jones; one son; Jonathan Guss and significant other Gwynaeth Morgan; grandchildren, Jaxon Foster, Kyan Foster, Zaidi May, Jaxi May, Lilah Davis, Bianca Reitzel, Archer Reitzel, Ezmia Reitzel, Magnolia Reitzel, Everly Parham, Tabrielle Hardwick, Williow Morgan-Guss, and one on the way, Tuck Reitzel; two brothers, William Randall Darneal and wife Paula, James Darneal and wife Tammy; numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and loved ones.
Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
