He was preceded in death by his parents, Garner and Alta Pool.
Shannon worked in sales. He loved Maria Carey and taking adventurous trips. Family was the center of his world. His eyes lit up whenever his great-grandchildren came into the room.
He loved his son and grandchildren with a fierce and unwavering devotion. Shannon will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on in the stories he leaves behind, the family who adored him, and the countless memories shaped by his humor, and unwavering love.
Burial of cremains will be at a later date in the Brent Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma. “LeFlore County’s Only On-Site Crematory”
