Sharon was born on February 28, 1943, in Spiro, Oklahoma, to Oma Lee (Butress) Frazier and Claude Denver Frazier. She grew up surrounded by love and developed a strong sense of family and community.
Sharon married the love of her life, Johnny Lee Rodgers, Sr., often lovingly calling him “her Elvis.” Together they built a life full of cherished memories. Sharon had an unmatched work ethic, excelling in all she did. Her faith and commitment to her church, Victory Worship Center, were central to her life, and she devoted countless hours to helping others.
A true Elvis fan, Sharon’s joy and energy were contagious. Her greatest pride was her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Lee Rodgers, Sr.; her granddaughter, Sheena R. Rodgers; and her sisters, Verna Faye (Frazier) Jones and Sue Claudette (Frazier) Johnson.
Sharon is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Lynn McKinney, and husband Brian; her sons, Johnny Rodgers II and wife Karen, Don Rodgers and wife Karla, and Ron Rodgers and wife Melinda. She also leaves behind her brother, David Frazier, and wife Gail; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Celebration of our Momma and Nana’s beautiful life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Victory Worship Center in Spiro, Oklahoma, with Reverend Bryan Fouts officiating. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro.
