Steve Alonzo Hatfield, Jr. of Spiro, Oklahoma, was born August 26, 1945 in Mountain View, Missouri, a son of Steve Alonzo Hatfield, Sr. and Myrtle Leora (Loyd) Hatfield Ross, and passed away July 2, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 74.

He graduated from Union High School in Union, Missouri with the Class of 1964.

Steve and Mary Ann Monzyk were married on July 3, 1966 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union, Missouri. Their union was blessed with four children; Steve Alonzo III, Joseph Charles, Rebecca Lynn, and Aaron Michael. They divorced and she preceded him in death on August 11, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents; Alonzo and Mary Cordelia (Banks) Hatfield, and Charles Robert and Louisa (Branson) Loyd, three sisters; Lauwanda May Hatfield Mitchell Rankin, LaVeda June Hatfield, in infancy and Judith Kay Hatfield in infancy.

He is survived by his four children, Steve Alonzo III Hatfield (Karla), Joseph Charles Hatfield (Angel), Rebecca Lynn Hatfield Hamby, Aaron Michael Hatfield (Carla); nine grandchildren, Gregg, Ercia, Shelby, Brittany, Kyle, Dakota, Christopher, Kristin, and Kaylee; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Geneen Hatfield Bourbon and Ginger Rae Hatfield Horton; one brother, Herbert Leroy Hatfield, Sr.; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Steve last worked at Gerber Products Company in the maintenance area in Fort Smith, Arkansas before disability forced him into retirement.

Viewing will be Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm at Mallory-Martin funeral home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
