Steven Carl Davis of the Haw Creek Community, outside of Heavener, Oklahoma was born December 6, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Carl and Kathern Lue (Freeman) Davis and passed away April 8, 2023 in Shady Point, Oklahoma at the age of 51.

Derek Davis of Hontubby, Oklahoma

Jeanen Davis of Heavener, Oklahoma

Three grandchildren:

McKinlea Davis, Ridge Davis, and Grayer Thornburg

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends

Steve was a long-time resident of the area, a logger, and a member of the Freedom House Fellowship in Heavener. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors, working at the church, and logging. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Freedom House Fellowship with Brother Sam Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be:

Justin Davis, Derek Davis, Logan Davis, Kevin Freeman, Mark Dedmon, and Rodney Brown

Honorary pallbearers:

William Davis and Dakota Benson

Steve will lie in state from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday.
