Teresa was born on June 18, 1960, in Poteau, Oklahoma, to Frank and Nadine (Warren) Carpenter. She graduated from LeFlore High School in 1978 and went on to further her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she earned her Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy. Teresa devoted more than 25 years of her life as a dedicated pharmacy manager, serving her community with compassion, professionalism, and care.
Above all else, Teresa cherished time spent with her family and friends. She loved traveling, shopping, and embracing new adventures. Known for her radiant smile and infectious laughter, Teresa had a special way of lighting up any room she entered. She especially enjoyed turquoise jewelry and never passed up an opportunity to make lasting memories with those she loved.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nadine Carpenter; and her brother, Jerry Carpenter.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Dupree of Clinton, OK; her son, Warren Dupree and wife Jenna of Coweta, OK; her granddaughter, Farrah Dupree; her grandson, Tristen Dupree, and his mother, Dana Dupree of Clinton, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life service for Teresa will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church in Wister, Oklahoma, with Bryan Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Austin Standridge, Don Allen Martin, Jeffery Morris, Bryar Ward, Bronc Ward, Judd Morris, and Rylan Tobey.
