Thomas was born on November 15, 1947, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Marvaline (Files) Lynch and Edwin D. Lynch. He was raised in Roseburg, Oregon. Thomas married Carol Lynch on August 23, 1980.
Thomas was a union pipefitter and retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 344 in Oklahoma City after more than fifty years of dedicated service. He took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his shop and was a skilled machinist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Dean Lynch and Marvaline (Files) Lynch.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Lynch; sons, Clinton Steeds of Los Angeles and Dr. Craig Steeds and wife Marisa of Prairie Village, Kansas; and granddaughters, Lily and Rosemary.
