Funeral Service for Tobey Lynn Thompson, 52 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 10am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at United Pentecostal Church in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jeff Jensen, and Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
Tobey was born on June 11, 1970 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Joyce (Armstrong) Thompson and Lester Thompson and passed away on June 15, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Thompson; uncles, Chester Thompson, Harlan Armstrong, and Burford Armstrong. Tobey loved hunting with his dogs, spending time fishing and being outdoors. He was the youngest of three boys.
Survivors include: mother, Joyce Thompson; brother, Terry Thompson and wife Sandy, Todd Thompson; aunts and uncles, Billie Hunt, Charley and Sandy Thompson; nieces and nephews, Christine Thompson, Ty Thompson and wife Angelica, Kaylyn Thompson, numerous cousins, friends other relatives and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Leon Midgley, Rick Minks, Frankie Brown, Rocky Crain, Rick Crain, Joe Branson.
