Ty, a devoted husband, father, son, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends. Ty dedicated over 20 years of his life to serving others as a healthcare worker with the Arkansas Support Network. His compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to those in his care made a lasting impact on countless lives.
Ty was a man of many passions. He loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing or hunting. He was also an avid reader and true bookworm, with a deep love for poetry. Whatever Ty set his heart to, he pursued with intensity and passion. His enthusiasm for life, his strong spirit, and his caring heart will be remembered by all who knew him.
Ty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald Alfani and Marion Bollia.
He is survived by his loving wife, Danyell of the home; his parents, Tony Alfani of St. Paul, Arkansas, and Flora (Casto) Giles of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his children, Kayla Petty of Pocola, Oklahoma, Joe Petty and wife Katelyn of Wister, Oklahoma, Nicholas Petty of Wister, Oklahoma, and Troy Alfani of California; his sisters, Madison Williams of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Mary Alfani of St. Paul, Arkansas; his cherished grandchildren, Kara Petty and Collin Petty; his grandparents, Dan and Barbara Welsh; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Sheila Sockey of Wister, Oklahoma; his honorary brothers, JJ Norris of Springdale, Arkansas, Chris Brace and wife Thea of Springdale, Arkansas, Derik Ransweiler and Peter Kennedy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Ty’s legacy of love, dedication, and passion will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The Celebration of Life Services for Ty will be held at 11am, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma with Chris Brace and Daniel Clark officiating. Family Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, February 16, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Red Oak Cemetery, Red Oak, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Chris Brace, JJ Norris, Joe Petty, Dylon Owens and Jake Brocato.
