Velbert Lee Williams of Heavener, Oklahoma was born May 26, 1954 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri to Carl “C.V.” Velbert and Billie Jeanne (Price) Williams and passed away December 25, 2020 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

Daniel Charlton Williams and wife Mary Elizabeth (Unruh) of Aurora, Colorado

Timothy Lee Williams and wife Amber Donn (Ethridge) of Gainesville, Texas

One sister:

Cathy Jeannine (Williams) VanAllen and husband Richard VanAllen of Sharon Springs, Kansas

Three brothers:

James “Jimmy” Gerald Williams and wife Carmen (Christopher) of Monroe, Oklahoma

Kent Wesley Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Ike Huston Williams of West Yellowstone, Montana

Nine grandchildren:

Hunter William McCollom, David Benjamin Matthew Scrivener, Ryan Joseph Williams, Hayden Blake Williams, Chloe Elizabeth Williams, Parker David Williams, Nathan Lee Williams, Isabella Jeanine Williams, and Lillian Ann Williams

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of many friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Marcus Matthew Williams; one sister, Patricia Irene (Williams) Trujillo; and one brother, David “D.D.” Gene Williams.

Velbert was a long-time resident of the area, worked for the Heavener Feed Store, and was a bee keeper. He also worked in pulp wood, logging, and sawmills. He was in the Oklahoma National Guard-E5-Infantry and was a minister of THE WORD. Velbert loved the Lord. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, family, and friends. Velbert loved honey bees, gardening, and woodworking.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
