Veronica Lynn High of Heavener, Oklahoma was born April 21, 1974 in Turlock, California to Howard and Patsy (Griffith) High and passed away on April 23, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 45.

Numerous other relatives and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy High.
Veronica was a long-time resident of the area and a cake decorator. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Veronica also loved gardening, horseback riding, car rides, and camping. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Paul Puckett officiating.
Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Brown, David Longobucco, Bobbie Worley, Joe Worley, Byron Walden, and Tom Terrill.
Viewing will begin at Noon until 8:30 p.m., Friday and 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Saturday at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
