Victor Marvin Barron, 79, passed away on August 9, 2025, at his home in Wister, Oklahoma. Victor was born on January 14, 1946 in Garden City, Michigan to parents Charles and Bertha (Gerrard) Barron. Victor served his country through the United States Army and was awarded the Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he went to work for General Motors in Detroit, in the Hydromatic Transmission division for many years. He was also an avid Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions fan.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents.
Victor is survived by his sister Diane Posky of Central City, Arkansas, his nieces an nephews Shawn, Tracy, Billy, Brenda, Sheila, Tina, Charles, Hank Jr, Calvin, and Sherry, along with many other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services for Victor will be held 6pm – 8pm on Friday, August 15, 2025 at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma. The Family of Victor Barron will greet friends during this time.
