Violet Arlie Autrey, 95 was born on January 4, 1928 in Henrietta, Texas to Vergie Irene (Hill) and Asalee Fryhover and passed away on November 2, 2023 in Pocola, Oklahoma. Violet is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Bill” Autrey; one son, David Autrey; three sisters, Clara Crandell, Virgie Hamilton, and Rose Fryhover; and three brothers, Sonny Fryhover, Paul Fryhover, and Ivan Fryhover. She was a member of House of Blessing Church in Monroe, Oklahoma.
Violet is survived by two sons, Larry Autrey and wife Peggy, and Jimmy Autrey and wife Sheila; daughter-in-law, Laurie Autrey; eight grandchildren, Heather and husband Patrick MaHaffey, Radina Jackson, Billy and wife Rose Autrey, Tausha and husbnad Michael Park, Melissa and husband Shane Preston, Michael and wife Kayla Autrey, Christy and husband Chris Corbell, and Amber Autrey; 16 great-grandchildren, Steven, Brookelynn, Alyssa, Alex, Dakota, Alexis, Denisha, Jazmin, Stormy, Sherry, Kami, Jett, Kylee, Hunter, Clayton, and Weston; and two great great-grandchildren, Mason and Jasper.
Memorial Service will be handled by the family at later date. Cremation Services are under the direction of Grace Funeral Service.
