Funeral Service for Virginia Lee Patton, 87 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Church in Pocola, Oklahoma with Brother Paul Walker, Brother Jeff Beshears, and Brother Kyle Jarnagin officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
She was born on October 20, 1936 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma to Naomi Lee Branson and Everett Statham and passed away on January 12, 2024 in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband James Patton.
Survivors include sons, Brian Croy Patton, James Keith Patton and wife Trina; grandchildren, Brian Lee Patton and wife Rachel, Amber Nester and husband Joseph, Melony Pinkerton, and Beau Patton; nine great grandchildren; last of eight children, Sue Jane, Betty, Lucretia, Wayne, Douglas, Doretha, and Paul.
Pallbearers will be Brian Lee Patton, Brian James Patton, Christopher Jackson, Joseph Nester, Eli Nester, and Daniel Thomas.
