Graveside Service for Virginia Lorie Richison, 83 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Monday, May 13, 2024 at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Vernon Stone officiating. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma. There will be no viewing but the family will visit with friends 4pm-5pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Lorie was born on February 28, 1941 in Monticello, Arkansas to Martha (Forrest) Robinson and Rexford Matthew Robinson and passed away on May 9, 2024 in Spiro, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her grandparents,who raised her, Charlie and Blanche Kilburn. Lorie was a member of the Baptist faith and attended Zoe Church (now Stapp-Zoe) as a child and was baptized in the Shawnee Creek. She enjoyed basketball and played during her younger years. Lorie loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Ray Richison, Jr.; two daughters, Lisa Perry and Carol Hickey; one son, Richard Germany and wife Cherie, brother, Rex Robinson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
