Graveside Service for Virginia Mae Corby, 92 of Heavener, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
She was born on August 26, 1931 in Wister, Oklahoma to Evvie (Jones) Cagle and John M. Cagle and passed away on January 19, 2024 in Heavener, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd V. Corby; Son Robert Corby; siblings, Jewel Tague, Bill Cagle, Helen Odell, Mildred Cox, Jay Cagle, and Edith Cagle.
Survivors include children, Steve and wife Kit Corby, Ramona and husband Gary Wineinger Michael Corby and wife Rose, Mary Corby, Cecelia and husband Stan Shinkle; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; numerous other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lance Wineinger, Aaron Corby, Andy Estoquia, James McKnight, James Markham, Nick Williams, Levi Williams, Hunter Williams, and Aidan Wineinger.
Visitation will be Monday, January 22, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
