Von Smith, 53, of Poteau, OK passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in Poteau, OK.
He was born September 26, 1965 in Fort Smith, AR to Melvin and Florean (Nelson) Smith. Von was the praise and worship leader at Courage to Change Church.
Von is survived by his children Samuel, Daniel, Nathaniel, and Nicholle Smith; Father Melvin Smith; Sister Shannon Claggett; and numerous relatives, loved ones and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Courage to Change Church, 13110 Hwy 45, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the Courage to Change Church.
