Wanda C. Whitt of Red Oak, Oklahoma was born August 13, 1925 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Omer and Maude (Kelly) Chitwood passed away on July 30, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 92.

 

She is survived by:

Two daughters:
Jacquelyn Evans of Wister, Oklahoma
Barbara Osterberg of Oxnard, California

One son:
David Whitt and wife Carolyn of Fort Smith, Arkansas

One sister:
Glenda Chitwood of Black Hawk, California

One sister-in-law:
Iva Lee Chitwood of Summerfield, Oklahoma

Seven grandchildren

Six great-grandchildren

Numerous other loved ones and dear friends

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Malcolm Whitt; one son, Michael Whitt; one sister, Ileen Camp; and two brothers, Joe and Kelly Chilwood.

 

Wanda was a long-time resident of the area and retired as the Owner of Whitt Plumbing and Equipment.

 

She loved spending time with her family and friends. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

 

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Heavener Memorial Park in Heavener, Oklahoma with Pastor Lamar Ford officiating.

 

Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park in Heavener, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

 

Viewing will be from noon until 7:00 p.m., Thursday and 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
