Private family services for Wanda Lynn Steward, 62, of Spiro, Oklahoma, will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Wanda was born on November 25, 1963, to Linnie (Presley) Jenkins and Arthur Jenkins. She passed away on October 4, 2026, in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Wanda found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved rock hunting, antiquing, thrifting, and settling in with a good book. A collector of all things, Wanda always seemed to have a treasure tucked away somewhere, and she enjoyed the thrill of finding something special.
Above all, Wanda treasured her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart, and time spent with them was always time well spent. To her great-grandchildren, Nana’s house was a special place—they knew Nana always had the best snacks, and they loved sitting down to work puzzles with her. These ordinary moments became some of the sweetest memories and are a beautiful reflection of the love Wanda had for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Linnie and Arthur Jenkins; her husband, Kenneth Steward; her son, Jason Steward; and her sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Art Contreras.
Those left to cherish Wanda’s memory include her daughters, Sabrina Garcia and husband Julio, and Michelle Shirley and fiancé Curtis Wilkinson; grandchildren, Destinee Motsenbocker and husband Jonathon, Acacia Munday and husband Jake, Kaleb Bollinger and wife Jodi, Kenda Bollinger, Brayden Shirley and wife Cheyenne, Brock Shirley, Grayson Wilkinson, Richie Steward, Chloe Cooper, Breanna Blankenship, Bethany Tobler, and Layla Tobler; great-grandchildren, Kaydence Motsenbocker, Kenneth Motsenbocker, Savannah Munday, Kaleb Munday, Jaxston Tobler, and Ezekial Steward ; sister, Ruby Gosnell and husband Ralph; brothers, Arthur Jenkins and wife Teresa, and James Jenkins and wife Judy; daughter-in-law, Christina Tobler; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and loved ones.
Wanda will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the countless little moments that made being at Nana’s house so special. Her family will carry those memories—and her love—with them always.
