Funeral Service for William D. Jackson, 78 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Vernon Stone officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
He was born on January 23, 1943 in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma to Stella (Corbin) Jackson and Coy Richard Jackson and passed away on May 27, 2021 in Poteau, Oklahoma. William was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Jackson, brothers, Melvin Taylor, Sherman Jackson, John Jackson and sisters, Melba Byrd, and Lela Blackburn.
Survivors include his son, Michael Jackson and Tara Blaylock; granddaughter Ashtan Jackson; grandson, Nicholas Jackson; sisters, Fern Jackson and Ruby Treece; brothers, Raymond Jackson and Roger Jackson, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Viewing will be Monday, May 31, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
