Funeral Service for William “Dale” Smith, 85 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Gene Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
He was born on February 11, 1938 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Rhoda Bell (French) Smith and William Jefferson Smith and passed away on June 28, 2023 in Spiro, Oklahoma. Dale was married to Wanda Ruth (Hall) Smith on May 21, 1958 in Stigler, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Smith; son, Larry Smith; grandson, Jeremy Smith; brothers, Bill Smith, James Smith, Dallas Smith; sisters, Donna McClain, Jessie Dieter, and Mary Lou Jordan; mother and father in law, James and Bessie Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Smith; daughter, Tawnya Jackson and husband Mark; grandchildren, David Daugherty and wife Leslie, Andrea Shoup and husband Justin, Leann Jones and husband Brandon, Misty Mead and husband Robert; great grandchildren, Canon Shoup, Oakley Shoup, Ella Shoup, Braxton Biernacki; Raycee Biernacki, Josephine Daugherty, Henry Daugherty, Christian Scott, Shay Scott, Addison Mead, Kiley Phillips, Kya Lynn Smith, JJ Smith, Stayley Jones, Saylor Jones, Hadilee Jones; sisters, Deloris Masterson, Brenda Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Justin Shoup, Brandon Jones, David Daugherty, Braxton Biernacki, Canon Shoup, and Oakley Shoup. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Mead, Gary Masterson, and Claude Bryant.
